ASC was incorporated in May of 1993 under its original name of Troy Bloomfield Surgery Center Facility.

The Company has developed an Office Based Surgery program for patient care, patient safety and medical facility billing services which the Company has branded the SurgInsite(TM) program. Office Based Surgeries are performed in rooms within a doctor's clinical practice that are dedicated to surgical treatments. The SurgInsite Program provides two sets of services: a clinical quality management program intended to maximize patient care and safety during the surgical procedures that provides care comparable to that expected in a hospital environment, and facility billing services for the technical component of the surgical services provided. The SurgInsite Program provides physicians with the ability to provide the best possible patient care and safety for their surgical procedures, comparable to what is expected in hospitals while operating at much lower overall costs to the insurer and patient.
