American Transformer Services LLC is an IBEW endorsed transformer services provider, with factory-trained technicians performing maintenance to all sizes, makes and models of transformers. Some of the related services we provide include: transformer dry outs, fullers-earth oil reconditioning, oil processing, oil sampling, oil testing, transformer testing and analyzing, internal inspections, bushing replacements, fixing nitrogen leaks, oil leaks, and supervising the assembly of new and vintage transformers. The company regaskets and vacuum/oil fills older transformers, dry out wet transformers, along with retro-filling older transformers with Cooper Powers FR-3 fluid to extend the life of that aged transformer. The Baron processing equipment is the newest and lightest large capacity vacuum oil processor in the business today. The processor is set up with separate vacuums for the transformer and oil. All the data is real time and can be accessed at any time it also keeps a log so the information and paperwork can be given to the customer before we even leave the site. Our new Assembly trailer has everything from an office to a dry air machine providing dry air at with a dew point of -65 C at 80 F. We have added an ELECTRIC COLD TRAP to our arsenal of equipment that has 500 square inches that gets to a bone chilling -85 deg. Celsius.
