ContainerTrac's PDS provides cell level accuracy, under all conditions, which is essential to overcome the multi-path and blockage challenges of heavy metal, steel shipping container environments. ContainerTrac's PDS is particularly effective in stacked container canyons, under rubber tired and rail mounted lift equipment, and next to the vessel under the Quay cranes.

As seaport and rail operators know, most solutions to date have only been able to achieve cell level accuracy about 80% of the time, which is not sufficient to automate current manual processes. As a result, handling costs have dramatically increased as global volumes have forced even the largest container yards to stack boxes higher and higher. This densification, and the constant need to reduce costs makes the deployment of a ContainerTrac PDS timely and necessary.
