Each day we strive to achieve that same founding goal.Today we remain a locally owned and managed community bank headquartered in Jasper, Georgia. Our managers and staff are accessible, knowledgeable and have the authority to make decisions in a timely manner to benefit their customers. We take the time to listen in order to provide solutions that enable both our consumer and business customers to attain their financial goals. In the communities we serve, the people of Crescent Bank are known for their participation and leadership in civic and community activities.Crescent Bank serves the northern metropolitan Atlanta counties of Pickens, Cherokee, Bartow, Forsyth and northern Fulton with ten full service locations, and three commercial lending centers in Cherokee, Cobb and Walton counties. A new mortgage lending center opened in the third quarter 2005 in Cartersville, Bartow County. 2004 was a year of transition for the Company as the wholesale residential mortgage business was sold at the end of 2003, and strategy changed to focus on expanding community banking operations. Branching initiatives continue strong with the acquisition of Futurus Financial Services, Inc. and the opening of the tenth full service branch at the end of second quarter 2005. Growth in this attractive geographic footprint continues with the planned construction of three new offices in Cherokee and Forsyth counties by year end 2006.Crescent Banking Company, the parent company of Crescent Bank is traded on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market under the symbol CSNT.
