Established in Dalton, GA, in 1989, Cycle Tex has been recycling post-industrial and post-consumer material for over 20 years. Phil Neff, the company's founder and CEO, started Cycle Tex as a logical extension of the existing carpet industry. The company soon developed strong long-term relationships with many of the major carpet manufacturers, enabling Cycle Tex to become the premier thermoplastics recycler in the area.

The company has grown to over 80 employees, two operational extrusion facilities and a fleet of trucks and trailers that operate all over the Southeast. Cycle Tex has expanded beyond the carpet industry as well, dealing with many diverse industries, customers and suppliers.

Our main extrusion facility is located in Dalton, right in the heart of carpet country. Its three extrusion lines run 24/7 and process the majority of our material.

In 2003, Cycle Tex opened a second extrusion facility in Rome, GA. This facility has 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, three extrusion lines, compounding capabilities and an on-site laboratory for materials testing.
