Endresen Sound Company was founded in 1927 by Marty Endresen. In the beginning the company was called Endresen Radio Service.

During the late 1960's Marty sold the company that he had founded to Wally Morse and Robert Stickney who later incorporated the business and named it Endresen Sound Company.

It was at this time Wally and Bob expanded the business to include commercial fire alarm and nurse call systems. For nearly the next 3 decades Endresen Sound Company would be instrumental in many of the fire alarm and public address systems throughout many of the schools and nursing homes in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.

In the early 1990's the company changed its "DBA" to ESC Systems Sound and Life Safety while retaining its incorporated name of Endresen Sound Company. In 1997 Wally Morse decided to retire and Dan Everson and Jim "Rudy" Stabe purchased half the business while Bob stayed on until the 2002 when Dan and Rudy took over complete ownership. Throughout the years ESC Systems has become the leading locally owned fire alarm company in Northeast Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin and is very proud of the projects and customers it has been associated with.
