FNPS LLC was founded in 2010, actually by the recommendation by an business owner and IT guru in Norman Oklahoma. He was having issues with an older single phase APC UPS. After some discussion about his options, he stated that because of my knowledge base I should look into starting my own business. So I did.
I can help solve problems and find a solution that is cost effective. I could indeed fill a niche and provide services that would help people.

With 15 plus years with a cable/telecom company and working with fiber equipment deployments that required batteries and rectifier equipment to meet strict FCC guidelines. We maintained these sites annually with site visits for PM checks, we also deployed, setup and maintained NIC cards for remote login and alarm monitoring. Various electrical 120/240 volts circuits were used in many different Telco/computer room environments.

I have attended classes and trained/worked on big power distribution bays (BDFB's), single phase UPS's, -48 & 24 volt rectifiers, telecom grounding, structured cabling and termination (T-1, DS-3 and CAT5-6). Project management and installation procedures with attention to details while adhering to strict budget guidelines ALL while maintaining a "NO DOWN TIME ALLOWED" requirement on circuits or equipment that required maintenance.

In those 15 years, I have tested, helped to standardized/deployed and maintained many different brands and sizes of batteries, surge protectors and various power sources. I have learned which batteries that will get you the biggest ROI and surge protectors that actually work to protect your investment and equipment. I use that knowledge to help you and provide the best bang for the buck approach to save money today and down the road.

I have added to the list of trades over the years, items that include but not limited to emergency power gear, including emergency lighting products, 3 phase UPS's, generators (big and small). Current ventures include alarming, access control and CCTV applications, classes and licenses pending.
