New Year's Eve in 1998 marked a significant milestone for the Providence culinary landscape when Gracie's entered the scene establishing itself at a Federal Hill locale. Seven years later, in 2005, Gracie's moved to an expanded location downtown in the heart of the theater district on Washington Street, just steps from the Trinity Repertory Theater.

We are Providence's only AAA Four-Diamond Awarded Restaurant and a winner of Open Table Diner's Choice Award for 2012. Our own Chef Matthew Varga was recognized by Edible Rhody with the Local Hero 2013 award for making our community a better place to eat.

Within our walls, and throughout the year, guests enjoy many exciting and rewarding special events including winemaker dinners, non-profit events, and the Star Chef Series, which brings featured chefs from around the country to collaborate with Chef Matthew Varga, and create a special menu with the Gracie's team.
