Hope For Life, Inc. was founded in 2012 by a group of stakeholders that were able to see the correlation between the challenges faced by homeless individuals and the resources that are made available to them through private and publicly funded programs. Located in North Carolina, the organization attempts to steer displaced people from homelessness by providing safe and positive alternative activities and housing. In addition, these initiatives inspired by the organization seek to combat mental illness and drug addiction.

Recognizing the physical and emotional effects of homelessness, the organization’s programming was established to teach personal excellence in life, while encouraging a belief in personal responsibility, instilling habits of hard work, and demonstrating passionate commitment to excellence. These activities aspire to take life change to another level. The goal of the program is to become an aggressive resource in broadening the scope of housing resources for all homeless people in the community, while at the same time incorporating the importance of good character and academic success.

Our organization is currently seeking funding to increase our organizational capacity through acquisition of capital funding. Hope For Life, Inc.’s proposed facility will provide a safe and supportive environment for people that addresses their vocational and educational development, as well as emotional well-being. Activities will continuously provide participants the opportunity to achieve optimal self-sufficiency, thus fostering self-confidence and high self-esteem, while at the same time promoting their health and wellness
