The History of Elmer's Original Barbecue Sauce:



We would like to give you a quick overview of Elmer's Original Barbecue Sauce and where it

originated from.



The sauce has been around since the 1970's and originated in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Elmer

was a cook at a local restaurant and by trial and testing; he came up with this unique tasting

barbecue sauce.



Mr. Elmer's sauce quickly became one of the most sought-after barbecue sauces in

Oklahoma. He created three unique flavors; hot, mixed & sweet. Mr. Elmer did very well with

his barbecue sauce and found himself with a business that was famous though out Oklahoma

and bordering states. He also continued to perfect and produce his unique tasting barbecue

sauce.



A gentleman by the name of Mr. Robert Beverly met Mr. Elmer and the two of them became

best of friends. The recipe eventually was handed down to Mr. Robert Beverly. Mr. Beverly

also have a friend by the name of Mr. Willis Green, in which the two of them invested money

to produce and sell the sauce in Albertson's grocery stores in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and

a few local markets in Tulsa.



Again, Elmer's Original Barbecue Sauce has been around since the 70's and because of its

great and unique taste, once you've tried it, you'll be a customer for life. Donald R. White and

Melvin R. Morris, Jr. was talking one day while at work about people we knew and places

we've been and barbecue restaurants we had eaten at. We got on the subject of barbecue

and Elmer's Original Barbecue Sauce was the center of our conversation from that point on.

Because both of us had such fawn memories of this great tasting barbecue sauce, we decided

to see if the sauce was still on the market.



We found an old bottle of Elmer's, called the number listed on the label and the rest is history.

This partnership was bless by God and now everyone has the opportunity to find out for themselves exactly what we have been bragging about. "It Be Bad"!!
