CEC is a United States Armed Services Veteran owned and operated company. Its partners and sales team have a two generation track record of excellence in the New York Tri-State construction market. CEC grew from its now subsidiary, LED Transitions, an LED retrofit company. When it first entered into the market it was through a host of recommendations based on a long track record of honesty, integrity and high quality work.

In the beginning LED Transitions cut their teeth on Led retrofit projects by fixing errors from other contractors who had not shown the proper attention to "the details in construction and overall look" when installing the LED lights and fixtures. This led us to a unique understanding of what could go wrong and develop a protocol of "Best Practices" to avoid common pitfalls. Through our contracting experience we knew that even the best products will not perform to the expected standards if they are not installed correctly. As a result we have made a commitment to quality installations. Conversly, we know that the best practices can't make up for inferior products, so LED Transitions and now, CEC make sure that the products we use are of highest quality.

Additionally, we discovered a myriad of confusion between the contractor, energy provider, and customer regarding tax benefits, grants, and rebates. In addition to becoming committed to providing quality products, performing quality installations, we also are committed to being industry experts and a recognized source of knowledge in order able to help negotiate the vast bureaucratic process.
