Mansaw Trucking is owned and operated by Trey Manning and Jason Hughs. Trey grew up around the oil field in Kilgore, Texas and started working for Tuboscope in 2002 where he hard-banded and inspected drill pipe. He hauled crude oil for two years in south Arkansas, and then went to work for DSI as a manager over hard-banding and inspection of drill pipe in Conway, Arkansas. In 2007, he was hired as a shop hand for Sub Surface Tools in Conway, Arkansas. After a year and a half, he was promoted to manager. In 2010, he worked as a salesman for Cuttings Removal Company in Guy, Arkansas. In July 2011, he and another partner started Mansaw Trucking and leased on to a company that was working in Pecos, Texas.
Jason started in the oil field in June 2007 when he bought a truck and flatbed and started hauling pipe and casing to the rigs in the Fayetteville Shale. He met Trey at Sub Surface Tools. In 2009, he began working for Artexoma Logistics, a vacuum truck company, in Greenbrier, Arkansas. He started as a driver, was promoted to dispatch, and then promoted to assistant operations manager. At Artexoma, he worked with XTO, BHP, Chesapeake, and Southwest Energy. In October 2011, he went to work for Mansaw Trucking and in June 2012 he bought out Trey’s partner to become half owner.
We currently have 15 vacuum trucks and 2 hotshot trucks and trailers. We pride ourselves in having a zero spill policy on anything we haul, even reshwater. Our policy is to always have our trailer valves capped to prevent any possible leaks during transport. We also use buckets under all valves when loading or unloading to ensure that any spills are caught and do not contaminate locations.
