Northstar Bank and its former sister bank, Seaway Community Bank, with locations in Alogonac, Lenox/Richmond, Port Huron and St. Clair, merged in October 2013 to offer an expanded geographic market area and product base.

Since opening, Northstar Bank has experienced tremendous growth due to the support of its local communities and dedicated staff. Northstar Bank now employs 135 banking professionals.

Northstar Bank is held by Northstar Financial Group, Inc., a state of the art computer and bookkeeping center, which provide services to both Northstar Bank and West Michigan Community Bank.

Since opening our doors in 2001, Northstar Bank has experienced phenomenal growth. We are currently at an asset level of $470 million and continue to be a top-rated bank in Michigan.
