Palacios Marine & Industrial Coatings, Inc. (PMI) grew out of a shipyard business in Palacios, Texas and was incorporated in 2003. PMI initially offered services to the gas pipeline and processing industry that included blasting, painting, right-of-way maintenance and lease services. Shortly thereafter PMI became approved to perform work in various chemical processing facilities along the central Texas Gulf Coast, where scaffolding, insulation, lead and asbestos abatement, civil repair, and spill response were added to its offering, along with specialty services such as tank and secondary containment linings.

In 2009 PMI began installing and repairing water and wastewater treatment systems. In 2009, PMI?EUR(TM)s Mechanical Department was established where pipe and structural steel fabrication and installation and turnaround/shutdown services were added followed by tube extraction and heat exchanger repairs.

Because of the philosophy established by the ownership of complete customer satisfaction at a fair price, and the skill of the experienced and growing management team, PMI has continued on its path of steady growth. PMI has primarily served industries in the Gulf Coast states, but will travel where ever our services are needed. The petrochemical, oil & gas, power, and related industries continue to be our focus.
