Our organization (Preeminent Food Program) will be providing child care centers the opportunity to participate in CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) through us. The state of Texas Department of Agriculture will give our organization permission to handle the financial reasonability and disperse of the funding to the daycare centers, provide the daycare centers initial food program training, establish the daycare centers under our contract with the state, monitor their food program service, assist them with their paperwork, and provide the reviews and training necessary to stay within the state guide lines in compliance with federal and state regulations for food program participation. Also our organization will collaborate with the day care centers for food drives and educational workshops for parents on nutrition. With our help we anticipate that the daycares will be able to spend more time tending to their other responsibilities as a child care provider; while we spend many hours each month on the phone and on location training daycare staff and parents at our centers.
