Established in 2001 in Midland, Texas by a consortium of independent oil and gas businesses, individual energy executives, and a 20-year former TXU Energy industry veteran Padraig (Pat) Ennis, , Priority Power Management quickly became a leader in the development of aggregation services in the Texas electricity market.

In 2003, John Bick, another former TXU Energy executive, joined the firm to expand services to other Texas and national markets.
