Established in 1977, Revco Products, Inc. (RPI) was the creation and vision of David S. Gonzales. DavidÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s entrepreneurship began with his last assignment from his last employer, Hotel Security Systems of Santa Ana.

With a family to support he decided he had a better chance of success with himself as the decision maker. So, Revco Products, Inc. was created as a two facet company: an OEM supporting propane gas leak detection of the RV industry as well as carbon monoxide detection for the home. Also consulting for electro/mechanical design from which we commonly call: A.I.D. (Assist in Design).

Over the next ten years Revco Products, Inc. became stable with its primary products, and the consulting David provided began to produce customers that requested manufacturing capabilities. It was at this time that his wife Irene S. Gonzales was asked to come aboard and provide front office service for the company.

For the next seventeen years Irene worked with her husband to provide a foundation for administrative work. She was the perfect partner for David during these critical early years.

As the design services produced more opportunities for production requirements David turned to his oldest son Ronald S. Gonzales. David trained Ron from the ground up, instructing him on all areas of the production process. David would later be quoted as saying, Ã¢â‚¬Å“I will not ask you to do anything that I havenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t done myselfÃ¢â‚¬Â. Once again demonstrating his unique teaching ability in all of his endeavors.

Through the 1980Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s and into the early 1990Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s Revco Products, Inc. endured seven building moves. Each time expanding and doing everything themselves. It was during the early 1990Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s that DavidÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s youngest son Gregory S. Gonzales came aboard. And once again with DavidÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s mentoring Gregory learned the process from the ground up.

As Revco Products, Inc. went through the 1990Ã¢â‚¬â„¢s clear departments were being developed. No longer did David find himself having to oversee the details. Ronald has become the V.P. of Manufacturing and Gregory the V.P. of Business Development.

At the turn of the century, Revco Products, Inc. finds itself in the largest facility to date and a work force unmatched in its long history. Combining an ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2009 with a new lean manufacturing philosophy implemented in 2006, the future for Revco Products, Inc. is as bright as the vision that was used to give it life 31years ago.
