Rhema Health Care L.L.C. is a Female/Minority owned private duty agency, which was started in September 2000, and transformed into an L.L.C. in October 2000. The founder, Fordia McCarther, R.N., established the company to meet the needs of the elderly, disabled, and underserved aged population in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Rhema has years of experience in providing care and comfort to the frail, ill and disabled in the community.

Rhema Health Care (RHC) is directed by a traditionally structured Governing Board made up of 7 members from diverse backgrounds ranging from health care providers to community-based organization officers. The Administrator, responsible for all day-to-day operations, is supported by an Advisory Board made up of business and medical professionals.

RHC Clients have 24-hour access to 35 registered nurses, certified nurses' aides, and homemaking staff members. In addition to meeting certification requirements, all staff are required to undergo extensive screening, including drug testing and a police background check.

It is the intent of the organization to serve, not only as a provider of home care services, but also as a resource for all of the clients' health care related needs. Rhema is associated with a network of Visiting Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Podiatrists, Transportation Providers, and other senior care services.
