Safer Sports Technology (SST) was founded in the Spring of 2011 with the goal of bringing to market an innovative piece of equipment designed for pitchers. The higher the head acceleration speed, the worse the resulting concussion from impact force. The SST Head Guard slows head acceleration speed upon impact, lessening the chances of traumatic head injury and brain damage.
