Eastern Mixer focused traditionally on smaller, portable mixers and agitators, while Cleveland Mixer's product line consists of a broad spectrum of agitators, mixers, blenders and ribbon blenders.

In 1981, Eastern Mixer was purchased by EMI, Inc., and moved to Clinton, CT. In 1984, Cleveland Mixer was purchased and moved from New Hampshire to the Clinton facility.
