Tech Doctors began as A+ Affordable Computer Services in the year 2003. It was created by Derek Salsbery, the owner. He realized that Rochester,MN needed more computer repair services and decided to begin providing services both onsite and remotely to Rochester,MN and surrounding communities. He did this as part time work alongside his other part time (employed through a company) work.

In 2014, Derek decided to open a computer shop, after working from home since the beginning. He also asked a friend of his, Jason Einck, to become co-owner. The two worked together, as a new name, Tech Doctors. Jason provided remote support and administrative duties while Derek did mostly onsite work. The show closed in June of 2014 after realizing the area was going to be taken over by UMR in the future. The two partners continued to work from home. Jason decided to leave the company due to family attention needed in October of 2015.

Today Derek runs the home based business and services his existing and new clients in a timely and professional matter. He is also involved with freelance bid work for mostly business service calls posted on Field Nation, Workmarket and Onforce.
