Block Construction



Block construction is an excellent choice for a material that will stand up to fire, termites, humidity, high temperatures, and the destructive forces of hurricane winds. For added strength and durability, steel reinforcing rods can be inserted into the hollow voids in the concrete block, and a mixture of sand and cement poured into these voids. Once this wet mixture cures and hardens, incredible strength is imparted.



In a climate with long periods of hot weather, block construction provides an excellent thermal barrier. Heat is absorbed into the block rather than passing through to the inside of the building. And when weather is cool, this thermal barrier helps to keep the inside warm.



Just because a structure is built of concrete block doesn't necessarily mean that is has to look like a warehouse. Concrete block is versatile and can accept all manner of facing, including fiberglass, stucco, brick or wood.



Wood Construction

Shell Construction



In an effort to satisfy the requirements of our customers, last year we began manufacturing pre-cast concrete wall panels. The panels are 4" thick, reinforced with welded wire mesh and rebar, and connected with either welded steel connectors or bolted steel plates.



A typical house can be erected in about three hours. Roof trusses are then installed, effectively standing a house in one day. In busy housing markets homebuilders understand what it means to wait for masons and bond beam crews to show up on the job. With pre-cast the dependence on masons is gone, equating to faster builds and lower costs.



Careful attention is paid to every detail of panel fabrication, and every panel is inspected and certified by an independent engineer to verify that it is built to exact specifications.
