Triple C Housing (Triple C), has been providing housing and support services to low-income individuals and the disabled community since 1979. Throughout our continued growth in New Jersey, Triple C has enjoyed the support and backing of community members, community leaders and the constituency it serves. The goal of the organization is to enlist the public and private sectors support in developing safe, decent and affordable housing coupled with community supports for individuals of low income and with special needs so they may live with dignity in their communities.
Over the past 31 years, Triple C has grown into a support network for families and individuals, a comprehensive residential care provider for individuals with special needs, and a conscientious affordable housing developer.
Triple C offers transitional residences and predominantly permanent housing with flexible, person-centered support services that are strengths based, valuing the experiences and contributions of individuals while focusing on wellness and self-sufficiency. The services are geared toward teaching self-sufficiency to facilitate and maintain personal and financial independence while promoting personal pursuits in areas ranging from education to employment to home ownership. Triple C is a well founded, grass-roots organization that has helped to make the dream of living self sufficiently with dignity become a reality for those we serve.
Organization Accountability and Capacity
The ability of Triple C to provide eclectic, broad based community supports and develop safe, affordable housing opportunities offers individuals a wide array of options in a variety of settings. This flexibility in service delivery, combined with transitional and permanent-housing options, has enabled Triple C to reap success. Part of achieving the success of supporting individuals in maintaining community tenure is the development of tenant operated housing alternatives for persons with special needs whose residential options are so limited. The need in New Jersey is acute. For most individuals of low income it is impossible, on their limited financial resources, to secure a safe, permanent and affordable place to live.
Triple C has continually identified the need to: strengthen community support services and create more affordable housing opportunities to fully integrate communities; proactively address the unique, individual needs of persons served; and construct tenant operated and integrated housing opportunities in safe and decent neighborhoods. As such, Triple C has maintained a steady stream of housing development linked with support services to respond to the growing needs of the community.
