Viscera Labs was established in 2013, following the development of a nutrient-infused peppermint tea called "RestoreAde."

Consumed as a hot tea, RestoreAde was designed to help those suffering from gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea. The vitamins and electrolytes in the tea help replace lost nutrients while the peppermint provides soothing comfort.

Owned by Steve and Lee Ann Taglienti, Viscera Labs is based in Parsippany, New Jersey, with its distribution center in Rhode Island.

Steve Taglienti is a 1989 graduate of Purdue University, earning his Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy. For twelve years Steve worked in the pharmaceutical industry with advancing levels of responsibility at Schering Corporation. Roles included Professional Sales Representative, Oncology Sales Representative, Associate Product Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Director of Marketing.

In 2000, Steve founded Strategic Edge Communications, a medical promotional company, and would later form a pharmaceutical educational company, Educational Concepts in Medicine. In 2004, Steve sold his interests in the above companies and formed Tactical Advantage Group, a pharmaceutical promotional company, and Focus Medical Communications, a medical education company. Today, Steve oversees and takes an active role in the management of a multi-million dollar, global family of companies.
